Sound natural and confident — guide, don’t read. Smile, it carries. Treat each lead like gold.
⭐ The model — a 2-call close
Call 1 — the assistant
Lead with the AI chat assistant. Sell it, close it, collect the $350 (the demo is already on their site — instant proof). Then book Call 2 and send Daniel the lead + their current website URL.
Call 2 — the reveal
Fine-tune their assistant, gather their build details, reveal their fully redesigned website demo, and close the website / bundle with a 20% loyalty discount.
Never promise the redesigned-website demo on Call 1. It’s built between calls from their current site. On Call 1 you only ever show the chatbot demo. If they refuse the chatbot from the start → Path B (page 2).
Call 1 — lead with the chat assistant
- Open (intro + value in one breath).
“Hi, am I speaking with someone at {Business}? Awesome — my name’s Rachelle, I’m with SMB AI. We help local businesses like yours save time and stop losing customers. Give me 30 seconds and I’ll show you exactly what I mean — fair?”
Then your genuine compliment from prep: “by the way, love what you’ve built / great reviews.”
- Discovery — the chatbot.
“Quick question — do you have a chatbot on your site that captures leads during the hours you’re closed?”
If YES: “Are you paying a monthly subscription for it? That’s the problem — those bill you forever. Ours does the same job 24/7 but it’s one payment, no subscription — you own it.”
If NO: “That’s quietly costing you — people land on your site at night, get no answer, and call the next place down the list. We fix that, one payment, no subscription.”
- Show the assistant LIVE (this closes Call 1).
“I’m emailing you something right now — check your inbox. It’s a working assistant on YOUR own website, plus a one-page plan. Open the link… see the chat bubble bottom-right? Ask it something — that’s your site, answering on its own.”
- Close the assistant — pay now ($350).
“To get started it’s a one-time $350, includes 15 days of free revisions, no subscription. There’s a QR code on the PDF — scan to pay securely through Stripe, 30 seconds, or I’ll text/email the link now. Which is easier?”
Objections: rebut twice (page 3). Still no → Path B or reschedule.
- ⭐ Payment lands → book Call 2 + hand off.
“Perfect — you’re all set, welcome aboard! 🎉 Here’s what’s next: we’ll hop on a short call in a couple of days to fine-tune your assistant. And — at no charge, no obligation — I’m having our team mock up a demo of your website fully redesigned, modern 2026 style, so you can actually see it on that call. Does {day/time} or {day/time} work better?”
Book Call 2 → tell Daniel the same day: business + current website URL + Call-2 date/time. No long intake on Call 1.
Call 2 — reveal + close the website / bundle
- Warm open + fine-tune the assistant.
“Hey {Name}! How’s the assistant treating you? Let me make sure it’s dialed in…”
Handle tweaks, explain usage — this is the promised setup, it earns trust before the ask.
- Reveal the demo (the wow).
“Now — remember I mentioned a surprise? Open the email I just sent. That’s your business — with a brand-new, modern 2026 website. Fast, perfect on phones, built to turn visitors into bookings. Take it in for a sec…”
- Make it theirs — gather the build details.
“Let’s make it perfectly yours — a few quick things…”
Ask: services to highlight, what to keep/change, colors, photos. Frame every answer as a revision we’ll do — they’re now picturing it as theirs.
- Close with the 20% loyalty discount.
“Here’s the best part. The full package — your assistant plus this new website — normally runs ${anchor}. But because you already came on board with us, I’ve got TWENTY percent off the whole thing — that brings it to ${bundle}. You’ve already covered the $350, so today it’s just ${today} for your new site. Let’s get it live this week — sound good?”
Land hard on the “twenty percent” — it’s the trigger that closes the bundle. Closes → bundle complete = best result + best commission ($70). Wants it but not now → reschedule 3 days, lead with their objection.
⚠️ WHICH PAYMENT LINK DO YOU SEND? (super important — read twice)
If they already paid the $350 chatbot (this is the normal Call 2), NEVER send the regular bundle link from their row — it would charge their $350 again. Send the UPGRADE link instead: the $350 they paid is already discounted, so they only pay the difference.
Easy rule: paid the chatbot → upgrade link from this table. Paid nothing yet (Path B, taking the full package in one go) → regular bundle link from their row. The lead’s tier is in their row in your Excel.
Path B — they refuse the chat assistant (after 2 rebuttals)
“No worries at all. Honestly, the bigger win for you might be the website itself — yours is looking a little dated and a modern site brings customers on its own. Here’s what I’ll do, no charge, no obligation: I’ll have our team mock up your site fully redesigned, and we’ll hop on a quick call so you can see it — love it, we talk; if not, no harm. Fair?”
- Book Call 2 + hand off {business + current URL + Call-2 time} to Daniel.
- Path-B Call 2: reveal the demo → gather build details → close the website at its row price.
- Then add the assistant back as the bundle:
“And since you’ll have the new site — adding the 24/7 assistant on top only makes it work harder. Let me roll it into the full package at 20% off — ${bundle} instead of ${anchor}. Want the complete thing?”
Don’t beg past the 2nd “no” on the chatbot. Pivoting to the website keeps the door open — and the bundle often comes back on Call 2.
Objections — rebut 2 times, then pivot / reschedule
1st rebuttal — handle + re-ask
“Too expensive” → “It pays for itself with the after-hours customers you’re losing — and it’s one-time, not a monthly bill. Shall we get you set up?”
“Need to think” → “Totally fair — what’s holding you back, price or whether it’ll work? 15 days of revisions, zero risk. Let’s lock it in.”
“I have a guy / a site already” → “Perfect, this rides on top — the demo you’re looking at is already on YOUR site. Want it live this week?”
2nd rebuttal — final push on the chatbot
“Tell you what — one payment, you own it, 15 days to change anything. If we lock it in right now, I’ll personally make sure it’s set up perfectly. Shall we?”
If still no → Path B: offer the website + book Call 2.
Voicemail (no answer) — short, drive to the email
“Hi, this is Rachelle with SMB AI — we build 24/7 booking assistants and modern websites for businesses like {Business}. I put together a quick working demo on your own website — emailing it now, take a look in 30 seconds. Like it? Call me back at (516) 619-3034 or reply to that email. Talk soon!”
- Leave it on the 1st missed attempt; send the demo + PDF the same day.
- Maximum 3 attempts, then remove the lead from the list.
Remember before going live
- Call 1 = assistant only. Its job: close the $350 + book Call 2 + hand off {business + URL + time}.
- The website demo is built by our team between calls from their current site — detailed preferences are gathered on Call 2 as revisions.
- The 20% is the only discount. Keep the “because you’re already a customer” framing believable.
- Always log the outcome: paid / Call-2 booked / handoff sent / objection / removed.
